Lace It. Lace It Real Good.

Lace Blouse - Thrifted
Skirt - Thrifted
Earrings - f21
Straw Fedora - H&M

There is something so delicate and feminine about lace.  I love how it can add the perfect touch of detail to any piece of clothing.  I, also, love how the majority of my outfit was thrifted.  It's invigorating to find such cute clothes at such reasonable prices.

Just a tip for those of you who are new to the thrifting game.  Don't worry about the size.  For example, this skirt is size ginormous and it fits me quite snugly around the waist.  It's not only because I have a food baby from my recent trip to California where I gorged myself on cupcakes and frozen yogurt.  These skirts are just sized differently.  I think.  I hope!  That's what I tell myself, at least.  Aww man, this is not going so well.

I might add that I love wearing a dangly earring.  They just make an outfit that much better.  Although, you might not want to wear dangly earrings while wearing a shirt with lace on the shoulders.  The earrings may get caught on the lace.  This might happen while you are checking out at your local coffee shop.  You may try to act all nonchalant.  I meant to do that!  Or what are you looking?  My head just tilts that way, okay?  Then do some quick untangling action while no one is looking.  Just a warning to you.  Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Love the lace details.
Also, I have a red thrifted skirt and everyone else who wears a red skirt always seems to list it as thrifted. Where are all these skirts coming from!?
Thanks for joining us at EBEW!

This is a fantastic look with a great color combo. I have a ton of thrifted things that say one size but certainly fit as another. I just go with it. If I like it and it fits, to heck with the size! You look lovely. (:

Wow! You all are too much! Thank you for the lovely comments.

Roxie - Thanks for the compliment on my writing. That made my day. That's one of the reasons I got into blogging was to get back into my writing. I love it!

Linda - I have noticed the same thing about the red skirts. How funny! I don't care where they came from. I'm just glad we all found our thrifted red skirts! That's all that matters!
