Missed Connections

Have you seen the section on Craigslist called Missed Connections before?  I hadn't even heard of it until recently when this New York artist's illustrations started popping up on some blogs.  Missed Connections is where people who have shared a fleeting moment in time with a stranger and didn't seize the opportunity post short descriptions of their encounter hoping that they might find them.  Once you get past some of the "Hey, I saw you.  You were hot! Yeah." posts, there are some that are really touching, almost poetic, and sometimes hilarious.

This New York artist has taken inspiration from Missed Connections posts to create these beautiful illustrations.  They are so dreamy, don't you think?

Holy guacamole. These are fantastic! Thank you for sharing! I have a whole wall of art, much of it from etsy, and I'm pretty sure I NEED one of these!
